Four years at Skutesjön

Yggdrasil, a festival deeply rooted in the spirit of community, growth, and joy, has been a beacon of light and inspiration for many. The festival is held at Skutesjön Healing Center, a place nestled in the heart of nature, where the river invites for play and relaxation.

The journey of Yggdrasil began as a longing for togetherness and growth. Over the years, it has evolved into a gathering that celebrates the essence of being, where we come together just as we are, and find ways to create the life we want to live.

2019: The Beginning

The Yggdrasil Festival was born out of a longing for togetherness, growth, and joy. The first festival took place in 2019, with the aim of creating a "mini-cosmos" where participants could come together to cook, play, and take care of each other. The festival was a success, with attendees enjoying a variety of health and wellness activities, including yoga, dance, music, ceremonies, plant art, and much more.

2020: Adapting to Change

In 2020, despite the challenges posed by the global pandemic, the Yggdrasil Festival continued to provide a safe and welcoming space for attendees. The festival was held from July 31 to August 2, with a focus on maintaining health and safety protocols. The event was fully booked, demonstrating the strong community spirit and the desire to connect and grow even in difficult times.

2021: Expanding Horizons

In 2021, the Yggdrasil Festival continued to evolve, offering a rich program of activities and workshops. The festival was held from July 29 to August 1, and it was a time of celebration, connection, and learning. The festival's theme was "The New Time", reflecting the hope and optimism for a brighter future.

2022: Building Community

The 2022 Yggdrasil Festival was a testament to the power of community and collaboration. The festival, held from July 28 to July 31, saw an increase in the number of attendees and a diverse range of activities and workshops. The festival also introduced the opportunity for attendees to participate in Kambo ceremonies and sweat lodge ceremonies, further enhancing the spiritual aspect of the event.

2023: Looking Forward

As we look forward to the 2023 Yggdrasil Festival, we are excited about the potential for growth and the opportunity to continue building a strong and vibrant community. The festival will be held from July 6 to July 9, and we invite everyone to join us in creating a memorable and transformative experience.
